For some reason i had the urge to watch From Hell again the other day for what must be the millionth time now, and i realised that the only picture i've ever drawn of Inspector Frederick Abberline was years ago and i now consider the drawing crap. So i decided i'd draw a better one, and here it is. I've had a big fear for a while now that i was losing my drawing skills, but this drawing is a comfort as i think it has come out very well.

From Hell was the film that made my stupid brain see how awesome Johnny Depp is, and so it has always been my favourite Depp film and Fred Abberline has always been my favourite Depp character

The only problem with the film is that it doesn't follow the graphic novel which is a shame, and also i don't agree with the conspiracy theory. But i've learned to see it as just a story, an interesting one at that, but by no means meant to uncover who Jack the Ripper was

Oh dear, i just thought - Jareth is not gonna like this ... he doesn't take kindly to anyone moving in on his turf (ie - my brain) ... Johnny, get your finger out of your mouth and run! Go hide in the part of my brain where science, maths and common sense used to be!
