David Bowie as Jack Celliers in 'Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence'. I was watching the film again the other day, and i thought Bowie looked so adorable in this shot, so i felt compelled to draw it :aww: I love the film, and the music too, especially the main theme :D

The scan came out very badly, i had to adjust the darkness and contrast on it using Adobe, but it still doesn't resemble the real thing unfortunately. The original has a larger range of tones, and the scan simply doesn't hold a candle to the real thing

A4 paper, 0.7 mechanical pencil, blending sticks, rubber

This is amazing, you have a real talent for drawing Bowie, i would love to own an original work by you, as you say here im sure a print wouldn't do it justice

As always, your realism skills are absolutely amazing. The small strokes remind me of Van Gogh somehow, though I think it's just me being weird ^^;

I know the problem with scanners... urgh =_=
